The weather has been gorgeous the past week...cold mornings and sunny afternoons...perfect for thrift shopping
I walked into the Lions Club Shop just after a lady had bought in 5 Marcella quilts and they were $10 each but cash only. I could only buy one as I only had 10....so thrilled, it's the second one I have found in 3 years
They keep any donated old books in a free bin as they don't think they will sell!!!!!! Another book for my blue collection
I love this old vintage tin
Now that the family room is painted white we decided to fill the blank wall with a large canvas oil. We bought home a rather out there abstract but I wasn't happy with it and the shop kindly let us exchange it ...it's a big one!
It's so exciting to get up early morning and walk around the garden now there is only about one more week before all the blossom is out
Sunset
rolling around in the garden...dust bathing in the sun
crashed!

Beautiful cat pic with a wonderful palette. Looks a little like my cat Pendragon who is a lilac point British Short Hair.

Meg, how cool that you can get free books. Sometimes I buy them just for the way they look so I can use them in displays. I love the tin. Have a great weekend!
