Last Week of Summer

We took a trip up north for a picnic and in a tiny country town shop I found this large old hat tin....very cheap

A collection of  tiny French corsage pieces used by a milliner around 1900 (couldn't resist)

A homemade whole orange cake ready to be packed for the picnic... huge op shop picnic basket $2

We harvested our potatoes from the veg garden....the drought has reduced our crop by half this year

The Sedum is covered in bees and butterflies

A foggy dawn

Still battling to save our Golden Elm from elm beetle ...we have put sticky tape around the trunk poison in the ground and a fence around to keep the girls away...and will soon inject the trunk
