This Week

I love, love this framed print I found in a charity shop...it's new and part of a a truckload of donations from a high end interiors shop....unfortunately I found out too late to see everything. It's a copy of an old 1860 lithograph of Paris in a great sepia tone. This was the last one of six

the leaves are falling but the landscape is greening up

rain at last

Down the Path

From the local charity shop 3 bowls and a set of measuring jugs ....70c in total for all

David has made a winding path down the bottom of the back yard. Two pink rose gardens are going in on either side ( note the heaps of butternut pumpkins) All the roses have been ordered... about 20 plus others  transplanted from another part of our property

This is one of the new ordered roses called "Father Of Peace" released  for 2015

also on order"Wedgewood Rose"

"Addictive Lure"

The crushed river pebble has been delivered today and has to be spread on the path, and it's a lovely soft colour

The path can't be seen from the back verandah but an arbour is going in on the top of the path

The drought seems to intensified the Glory Vine this year

This Week's Find

This week I was very lucky to have a friend keep this eiderdown for me who works in a charity shop.
It's in beautiful condition and double size and only cost me a few dollars. I've got quite a collection now and I love them all

....And Another One

We visited the Agricultural Show at Mt Pleasant and I picked up another suitcase...I'm not to popular with my other half for bringing home another one

I like it's brass studded leather corners

Also found an old leather riding crop....love it's plaiting

We stopped and watched the cow judging and the merino rams

Looking around at the judging of the cakes, fruit, veg and craft I have decided to enter the succulent judging next year. I'm going to take cuttings, from my last year projects like this old ammo box, and put them into interesting containers.

Autumn colour starting to happen
