First Week of Autumn

Found this week on a day off drive with David, a big heavy date stamp with a wooden handle. I now have a collection of 2 to sit on my library catalogue cupboard

Our coffee table started off  all brown, then we painted it white on top and new handles, then when we out and about happened to walk into an Annie Sloan shop and came home with duck egg blue chalk paint and voila!

we were so thrilled to see rain clouds....but not a drop...we haven't had any since Jan

the white bird netting is still on the apple orchards over the back fence

  1. I really like the large stamps you found while out driving, I am a sucker for vintage and antique. I also think the pulls on the coffee table are a nice touch. You have such a wonderful view and everything looks very lovely around your home. We are still in the Winter with snow, freezing rain and very cold temps.

  7. How do you dry your roses? They look fabulous. Do you have to do it when they're still in bud? And as for your table? Gorgeous! You did a great job and it's a lovely colour. xxx

  9. I really like your "stampers". I found one years ago at a resale shop. I have no idea why I bought it other than I just liked the way it looked. I have been looking for more ever since but have never seen any. You are lucky to have 2. I enjoy your blog.

I hope you get some rain there soon. We haven't had anything decent here for a good while now and the ground could do with a good soaking. x
