  4. That blue wren is such a beauty! Your views over the land are spectacular as always and I love David Austin roses too, I found an almost similar rosebowl years ago in a thrift shop, beautiful is n't it.

  11. Meg, your pictures are gorgeous, as beautiful as picture post cards! Your landscaping and plants are amazing. I have a question that I've always wondered about. I've read about the brown snake in Australia, and I'm curious, do you have to watch out for them when you're working in the garden? We have the Eastern Diamond Back rattle snake here in our mountains, but they usually stay in rocky areas. Thanks! Bev

    1. Hi Bev ! Yes we have the brown snakes here, which is the world's most venonmous snake . When we moved from the city to the Adelaide Hills in 2013 with a Russian Blue cat I had no idea of the implications. At Christmas time he was bitten and was only just saved by an antivenine injection which cost us a $1000.We now have to realize he will probably get bitten again as he does go hunting for them all summer..and we have decided next time to let nature take its course. We do have to watch out for them when we gardening too xx

  13. Good Afternoon Meg, Your David Austin roses are fabulous.... my favourite flower and my favourite rose breeder. One of your readers mentioned your photos were like picture postcards.... and I agree. I think I never fail to mention how beautiful your views are.
    It is amazing that you found two beautiful Italian pashminas in a charity shop... they are lovely and warm.... and I love rose bowls.
