We found this old rusty vintage gate on the weekend...

and after wandering around the garden we decided to put it here

  1. Drool drool... what gorgeous photos once again, Meg! Do you edit them so that they look vintage or does the setting on your camera give the photos that lovely appearance?

    1. Thank you....they are posted on IG first and the interior shots are edited on it to get a more vintage feel, and the outdoor scenes are mainly natural. Before IG I used PicMonkey which is a fabulous tool. I am now using a great camera and it also has heaps of editing tools (Nikon Coolpix 610)

  4. Great garden piece. Those birds are wonderful, the one so colorful. Cats must have a thing for sinks as one of mine loves to lay in the sinks.

  7. Love the addition of the rusty, crusty gate!

Your photos of the roses are wonderful. I can almost smell them. Ours are starting to come on. We have only lived here about 6 months, so we don't know what to expect when they are in full bloom. They look small.

And, Mr. Gray Kittie! You KNOW he owns the place, don't you!!! We have 7 now, and they have allowed us to find a special place to sleep, but the rest of the house is basically theirs! They are such special little beings!

Thank you for the photos! Best wishes to you! Fonda

  9. I found a similar gate this weekend but way above my price range - $175! Lovely roses. Sascha is a sweet kitty sharing your laundry. Mine love to get in the dryer when the clean fresh clothes are coming out.
