Everything is Coming up Roses

It was my birthday on Halloween and I was given some money by my Mum...I intended to buy shoes but when I spied this meat platter I had to have it. It's huge and heavy about 1850 and in perfect condition and matches a couple of pieces I already have

my darling husband spoiled me and bought me  a new camera as he knows how much I am enjoying taking pics

David made new  pink rose garden with a path for me in winter  and they are now all opening...what a joy they are to me

picking roses for the house

  3. First congratulations with your birthday, such a great photos again. The platter you bought is stunning and all these roses blooming, when I see this I´m longing to spring and my own roses blooming again, but it´s only autumn and only a few roses are still showing a flower. I´m always enjoying your pictures of the beautiful views, your garden and the hens. Love it.

  9. Loving the Clematis! We hope to grow some at our new house when spring comes around (in North Carolina, USA)! Your roses and peony are beautiful, too. They would be a welcomed scent as we float into Fall!
