Garden Art and a Room Makeover

We went to our first farm clear out sale ....heaps of people, a long walk. Mr VL grabbed two farm made garden windmills. He turned his back and one got pinched but we still had one ...for $10.
It looks awesome in the rose garden whizzing around in the wind

This was our TV end of the family room and the last of the brown furniture to go. We had a local joinery put together a wall to ceiling unit

 BEFORE

everything is probably going to be re-arranged again

You may have spied a cute vintage fabric covered box on the shelves...I bought it from Etsy to checkout as a project for using my stash of vintage material I've been collecting

  1. Your room is stunning, I love the vintage luggage it looks just perfect there. I managed to pick up a couple of suitcases that I keep in my craft room. Such a beautiful garden.

  2. My pink sweet peas are blooming now too. I always have to stop for a smell when I walk past.
The built in tv unit looks amazing, and all that space to display your collections too.

  4. Love the new built-in! I love the old books, and arranging them by color is attractive. The globes are a sweet treat! I always enjoy seeing your chickens and the scenery you get to see every day. I am a bit envious! The windmill is a nice find, too, and it will add another element of interest to your garden. Keep on blogging, and have a wonderful day!
