A sweet jug
My 3rd King Penguin arrived in the mail this week
The garden has slowly recovered from the heatwave.....spinach,cucumbers,spring onions, parsley, tomatoes, basil and chilli
Time to trim up the topiaries and hedges
I have always had a fondness for Penguin books. Your garden is lovely. Thanks so much for dropping by L'Heure Bleue At Home.
ReplyDeleteI love that blue sauce jug. I have been looking for a nice one! x
ReplyDeleteLove your finds they are great, garden is look good.
ReplyDeleteThat jug is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely blue finds! I love the little pitcher/gravy boat. Looks very old.
ReplyDeleteOH, that jug is simply divine!! I would have snatched that up too!! So pretty!! Thanks for linking in today, happy VTT!
ReplyDeleteI think what you called a "sweet jug" is a gravy boat, and WHAT a gravy boat it is!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm rather partial to gravy boats and soup tureens. I have two gravy boats, one is semi-antique and the other brand spakin' new as of Chrisstmas. I have YET to get my first soup tureen. I do so want one though.
One day in an antique shop I THOUGHT I'd found my soup tureen - - - but there was no spoon hole in the lid and no spoon coming out of the nonexistant spoon hole, so I passed it by.
Lovely chintz vase. My living room is in blue and white. I love decorating with blue and white pieces. Stopping by from the Vintage Thursday Thingie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finds. I have a few pieces that are the cousins to your lovely blue chintz vase. '-)
ReplyDeleteOoh, you know I have a real weakness for blue and white and you found two fabulous pieces!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing them with us. Next time I want to go with!
Hugs,
Patti
Great finds! I love the blue and white pieces. And your garden... it makes me hungry! : )
ReplyDeleteOh, and I adore your banner! Fabulous globes!
ReplyDeleteI seem to have an obsession with blue and white pieces. I keep telling myself I will not buy any more. That doesn't last very long! LOL Your vase/urn and creamer are beautiful. And those books look like they would be so fun to read. Thank you for sharing with us at TTF this week.I hope you have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue and white pieces! =)
ReplyDeleteAdorable pretty pieces! I love your gravy boat the best!
ReplyDeleteI'm hosting my Homemaking Linkup Weekend and would love to have you join, if you'd like!
