Finds,Food and Flowers

I found this 1960's globe in the Salvos on Thursday morning complete with it's original book. I know I promised Mr VL no more globes...but it's GORGEOUS!!!

I took on the big task this Christmas of a hot lunch of turkey and pudding  and then a cold buffet in the evening of ham, atlantic salmon, cake and chocolate trifle

I was very spoiled with an ipad4

  6. I've had a fun time scrolling through your posts. The next best thing to finding your own thrift shop treasures is to see those of a fellow shopper. You've got a great eye. Onward, to new treasures to be found in 2013.

  12. Oh Meg, As soon as I opened your post I was fascinated by the header! Love your globes! When I was little we had the best globe on a stand, and on the shelf underneath was a huge dictionary. I used to get it out and look at the pictures in it and spin the globe--I wonder what happened to them? I'm coming over from Fresh Cut Friday and so happy to have found you! Linda
