Ancestors

I found this antique mercury glass frame at a fair a while ago with a  photo  of a fierce looking Edwardian lady in it , and I finally got around to making a copy of my great grandparents wedding photo, to replace  it. Much nicer!

Thank heavens Summer is drawing to a close although more heatwaves is probably still on the cards
The last of the summer roses opening and it's time to feed them for autumn

  2. Lovely roses, Meg. My husband doesn't like them because of the thorns but I often go to the State Rose Garden which isn't far from here. The roses there are beautiful.

  7. What is it about old photographs that makes them so sweet? Probably because a phot was so rare in those days. That being said, I am just bonkers about your photos. Keep 'em coming.
