Paint and Glass

When I saw this tall jar in a charity shop I decided it would be a great idea for displaying the antique cutlery I posted about last week

At last...........no more revolting brown walls. The last rooms at the front of the house have been painted white. We don't really use these 2 rooms and they mainly house the family pieces that have to be kept

We also painted a cream chair and a gold mirror with white chalk paint

before

freezing cold morning

mmmmmmmmm.......Italian for dinner

  4. I love how the chair looks! I love the frame of the mirror, too, though hate mirrors. At my age I try to avoid reflective things!

  11. Excellent painting Meg! I really want to have a nose at that striking dresser in the background! Love the white rooms. White works so well in countries with sun and blue sky. Not so much with grey sky. xxx
