This Week's Finds

It's been a gorgeous spring week....we did a few country own trips this weekend and found a few bibs and bobs

My favourite English magazine which is very expensive in Australia ....a pile for a couple of dollars

A few more very old bottles (I probably should stop now)

My Ebay find arrived in the mail from the US...it was very cheap, even with postage, a vintage croquet set as we have such a large lawn we thought it might be fun

Our chicks graduated this weekend from their brooder box to a larger pen and in another couple of weeks they will be moved to their own palace

We have planted tomatoes, chillies, beans, baby carrots, rhubarb and pruned back the espaliered fruit trees

A rainbow at the bottom of the garden

Misty dawn

I have been really lucky with my orchid this year... this one has survived since March, including a house move and flowered again

  3. There's nothing I love more than finding a stack of favorite magazines in a thrift! I have quite the collection of "vintage" Martha Stewart Living issues that I've thrifted over the years. Great finds as always, and your kitty is adorable. :)

  8. It is so wonderful to sit and enjoy your spring while my leaves are cascading down in a red and gold flurry. Is there ever enough bottles?

  12. Hi Meg,
I just bought a blue bottle too and wish I could get it clean inside. I purchased a bottle brush and it helped with the bottom but the inside middle areas won't get clean. Guess it is an old bottle after all - have you found this? Love your little chicks and the rainbow is beautiful. I'm a new follower. Found you through make it pretty Monday.
