Found little Treasure

We visited so many charity shops in our week away I had forgotten about this little book I picked up at the Balhannah Anglicare Shop. I found it yesterday in the back seat of the car. It was $2 and was published in 1904. How cute! This shop was probably the most competitive I have been to...it's tucked away from the town's main street...but before opening there were locals clutching baskets pressed up against the door and were glaring at the out-of towners from the big smoke!!

...and if Balhannah was a tough crowd.... Mannum (on the River Murray) was the smelliest...Mr VL couldn't get out of there fast enough

  1. That must be one popular op-shop.
Wow that beeok is in great condition considering its age. A great find.

  4. I think you should write a guide to op-shops in SA, but that might be giving all your secrets away!
