We took a trip to the Adelaide Hills for the Australia Day Holiday and found a quaint second-hand shop in Mount Barker where I picked up this old trunk. It's a bit revolting inside but that's OK as I'm not going to use it for storage. Naturally Sascha had to check it out as soon as it was unloaded.
Great find. It looks amazing stacked up with the others.
ReplyDeleteOh tell me about it, our cats have to check out and approve every new piece that comes into our home too. x
I used to have one similar years ago. Not sure what happened to it, but wish I still had it!
ReplyDeleteI was in Mount Barker today also, I do the food shop there! I didn't know any of the second hand stores were open or I would have been there as I only had one child with me. Doh!
ReplyDeleteIt's called Whistlers. We noticed it after we had been to Balhannah by Design and thought we might do our weeks food shopping at Mt Barker BUT we went to Woolies and they had no meat left so it's back to Norwood Parade after work today.
ReplyDeleteLove the old trunk. Looks great stacked with the others.
