This Week

I love, love this framed print I found in a charity's new and part of a a truckload of donations from a high end interiors shop....unfortunately I found out too late to see everything. It's a copy of an old 1860 lithograph of Paris in a great sepia tone. This was the last one of six

the leaves are falling but the landscape is greening up

still picking apples

fragrant rosemary

the first camellia flowers

rain at last

enjoying the last of the roses

a sunset stroll

  1. Hello Meg,

The sepia tones of the Paris print make it so much more special. And, how intriguing to see the layout if this its in the C19. Times have certainly changed.

Your garden is looking very lush and green after the summer. Rain must have been welcome for all your plants but it is all looking in great shape. Rather sad to see the last of the Roses....

  2. You have such a beautiful garden, shame its getting to that time where it is the last of the roses. We are just at the start of ours. Amazing print, what a find.

    1. We are still busy planning the new rose garden for Spring....can't wait xx

  3. It's a lovely print and I know you'll treasure it. What a great find! I love thrifting!

  4. What a beautiful cat! Such serene landscapes.

  5. Crimson, mustard, royal purple and a lush verdant green. Such a lovely landscape. {Hi, girls!}

  6. What a beautiful print! Do you have a special place to hang it? I could be very happy every morning gazing at your view :-)

  7. What a find, at least you were able to bring one of them home. Thanks for sharing all your photos at Vintage Inspiration Party.

  8. What a beautiful location in which you live!

  9. I love your beautiful spot of heaven!

  10. I just found your blog, it is absolutely beautiful. Do you have a post with outside pictures of your house? It looks very unique and charming.

I love to hear from you and appreciate your messages. Meg xx
