Happy Mother's Day

I 'm enjoying 2 lovely bunches of flowers this autumn morning in bed with a Nespresso

Sadly my Mother is a long way in Melbourne and I hope she is enjoying the parcel of pretty things I sent her

Our house sold straight away so I have started packing away  unused things.....although we have not found another house yet!!

My most precious items which have moved to so many places now are my much loved books from my mother. My love of books started from her collection of books she won as prizes for always being top of her class at school and attendance at Sunday School. They were read hundreds of times by me and then my children

One precious book from belonging to my Grandmother who I never got to meet

Charcoal Biscuits ?????????

2 books from my Mother's Grandmother to her

And my most precious of all ....the Anne of Green Gables set my mother received from her mother every Christmas and birthday, which I  read every year of my childhood

  7. What precious books you have, I only have one Enid Blyton that was given to me from my mum when I was seven. I now have a large collection for my children as I want them to have what I didn't.
Hope the journey of finding a home is not a long and labour some one.
