The Week that Was

A nice little find at the opshop - a nice  American silver comport for $4

The last couple of years I've had a red and green Xmas theme so this year I'm going white and silver,so yesterday I started going through my huge linen collection - I have been collecting antique linen since the 80's-trying to decide what to use...still haven't put it together in my mind yet. Almost all are Opshop finds, but is a lot harder to find these days!
A very small part of the pile on my bed...

As you know last week I had to put our large artificial fir tree away as Sascha was chewing off the needles so Plan B was to go Scandi and trim a branch and  decorate it ...WRONG... Sascha decided it was even more exciting than Plan A and attacked it ...SIGHHHH......Plan C is to go for broke and buy a fresh tree a few days before Xmas Day....I'll keep you posted!

Hiding away in shame!!!

It's been stinking hot all week ...so hot out come the summer shoes.... and the veg garden is growing fast especially the tomatoes and cucumbers and loads of rhubarb

How spooky is this pic! I found an app called Night Camera and took a pic of our fairy lights out the front of the house at night
