Hi Sarah....I have seen those photos....stunning aren't they!
Hard to turn down a good globe!

Great find!Greetings from sunny south-east Qld♥~Pernilla
I have the same problem... I am completely unable to resist a globe, especially if it's only a couple of dollars! I just picked up my 7th (or is it 8th?) globe this week at my local Goodwill for $1.99. I just love the scholarly, geographical feel, combined with the graphic punch of the seemingly infinite different color combinations! :)
Hi Meg: I know Australia isn't New Zealand, but have you heard of "Weiss" art designs? Yesterday I bought a set of coasters with Weiss art designs in Richmond, Virginia, USA, and wondered if they are popular by you? Thx, KarenThere's a photo of the coasters at the top of my blog post:http://otinpublicschools.blogspot.com/2012/08/so-much-great-stuff-for-work-so-little.html
The Weiss brand is a fairly iconic brand in Australia not N.Z ( Adele Weiss is a fashion designer and I think her branding was sold to a large company) They have a good website if you google the name
I've been wanting a globe too and just found one for 15 dollars. I'm so excited about it. I may paint it, not sure yet.
I love to hear from you and appreciate your messages. Meg xx
