We spent all of Friday shopping in the city and my better half patiently drove around to my favourite op shops . I found some very pretty table cloths , and a water bottle.
I picked up this gorgeous old jar in a vintage market
We spent the rest of the weekend in the garden, so we popped into Mr VL 's nursery to pick up plants and I snuck into the giftware and brought a pretty bottle home
We weeded , mowed, trimmed miles of box hedge, planted tons of plants.
so much more still to do !!
Inside the house I finally have a walk in robe ...YAYY!!
The very first iris to open

ReplyDeleteLooks like you have nothing left to do in your new garden it's so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy the photos of your beautiful property. When you wrote that you finally had a "walk in robe" I was puzzled. I know a robe as a dressing gown or dress. Then I realized you meant a "walk in closet" for your clothes! Isn't the English language a real "kick." Linda@Wetcreek Blog
