I also enjoying picking up funky accent pieces from Ikea. My girlfriend gave me the same white flower pot with a potted plant in it as a thank-you gift~ I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of your new/ old Fish fork and knife. And now I want to make a trip to ikea.
ReplyDeleteIkea has some gorgeous stuff at the moment
DeleteLove the fish flatware!!
ReplyDeletePerfect for Christmas Eve !
DeleteLove those bone handles! Your framed prints look fantastic x
ReplyDeleteHi Penny.....there was a lot of swearing from my other half during the self frame job!
DeleteThose bone handled pieces are lovely, and a wonderful price. Cutlery is fairly pricey now I'm noticing. Single knives, forks and spoons for $3-$5 each.
ReplyDeleteI'm yet to visit and Ikea store but have often admired those pretty plant holders.
x
Hi Zara...I agree if I had seen the set in the local Salvo's or Animal Welfare they would be probably be between 15 and 20 because they are so old
DeleteI love that white bowl from IKEA! I have seen it (and been tempted to buy it) many times in silver, but haven't seen it in white here. That cutlery set is beautiful, too!
ReplyDeleteoooo.....Silver sounds gorgeous too Heather !
DeleteYour serving set is gorgeous and what a bargain too. I could spend all day in Ikea, it's no wonder they have a restaurant inside. Love the black and white prints.
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy!
DeleteFun finds. Luckily for me, Ikea is too far to go unless you plan ahead and make a day of it. Otherwise, I'd be broke from all the little inexpensive items I'd put in my cart.
ReplyDeleteLiz
I agree Liz...it's loading up the little things that adds up
DeleteI love your fish set...gorgeous!! I have an IKEA about an hour away so I don't go a lot but when I do, I always manage to filll a cart or two!!
ReplyDeleteHi - thanks for visiting me - I've come over to see you! Lovely fish cutlery. I love IKEA too - I have the same bedside lamps and the white bowl! Abby x
ReplyDeleteHi Abby....thanks for visiting and come back again soon xx
DeleteOh, I love Ikea, but don't like the traffic to get to the closest one! Your framed photos look wonderful, I love how they came out. What a great find on your fish flatware. Very pretty detail. Happy Vintage Thingie Thursday!
ReplyDeleteI guess I am too old fashioned, I have never been to that store.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up at Shabbilicious Friday this week. I really enjoyed this post.
