Out and about the shops this week searching out bargains for decorating
I stumbled on this gorgeous mercury glass bottle, while I had my nose pressed against a gorgeous gift shop....it has sweet beading and a glass stopper, perfect for my white bedroom AND it was ridiculously cheap
I also ventured into Laura Ashley and was gobsmacked at the prices of their bed throws BUT a nice shop assistant said they had slashed some for an interior decorators order and I could have the one left for half price.. YAY...in duck-egg blue
The antique mall I haunt (Pedlar's Market) yielded a very old dilly bag-probably for travelling.
One side is mongrammed and the other side embroidered , probably to reuse at a later date.
It has a stain but that doesn't worry me ...I LOVE IT!
I found these also- a pair of old bookends. The portraits are curved.
A good day's bargain hunting!
