ReplyDeleteI believe you have a lot of rain in SA, Meg. The garden will like that. Beautiful photos as usual. I was reading the WiFi instructions in my camera manual last night. My eyes were starting to glaze over :-)
ReplyDeleteAs summer winds down and we head into fall in the US, it is wonderful to be able to enjoy my favorite season - Spring - through your blog! That sunset pic is divine!
ReplyDeleteOH. MY. your views are always stunning!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is lovely and it is nice to see the bird photos as we don't see them over here x
ReplyDeleteThe blossom and those views are simply stunning, and the Sussex hens. We have a pair of Sussex amongst our little flock, I love their markings. We are thinking about the end of summer here, just as you are thinking about it's beginning. It's been very hot and very dry, the plants have suffered and thanks to the drought there are very few flowers and very little colour left in the garden. Enjoy yours, it looks so stunning
ReplyDeleteWe have come out of 2 years of drought so I'm not looking forward to another summer of 110-115 heat xx
DeleteThese pictures make my heart feel good. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteHello Meg, Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. Just as you are anticipating spring I am sliding into autumn so I shall be looking enviously at your summer when I'm stuck in the gloomy an English winter! You obviously live in a lovely place and the blossom trees look beautiful with the gentle hills beyond. I especially like the sunset shot. Which Austin roses did you buy? I visited his place a few years ago in June to decide which roses to buy. What decisions, everything looked fabulous! I love camellias and your final photo is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHi again...summer here is brutal..110-115 days, bushfires and deadly snakes...we moved up here in 2013 from the city and I am sort of regretting it although we love our garden. We planted an English rose garden and my David Austin's are Mary Rose , Princess Alexandra of Kent,
