I know , I know I am packing up to move BUT all those country drives means lots of op-shops, garage sales , antique markets and 2 things I really, really love collecting are old luggage and vintage quilts, and old red and gold books!!!
I just had to have this gorgeous navy and tan leather suitcase, even the silk lining is beautiful
and it has gold initials on the front
And to make my week complete a huge vintage quilt for $15...I have another almost identical

ReplyDeleteand the quilt is stunning. x
I think I had better stop with the tower stack now Zara :-)
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful! And I can never resist suitcases - I love the really old, tatty ones, often lined with an old newspaper or fading wallpaper, with leftovers from a previous, long-ago owner, like hair clips or a comb. I once found one that had some lovely old letters in a pocket :) X
