While I waited for the Salvo's to open - I like to be there at opening time for the best buys- I could see this cushion on their dispaly bed in the window. There was NO way anybody else was going to get it. !!
I LOVE it!! It's damask and soft and squishy
(I have sold a few things recently on Ebay so I was able to order a cushion I have been hankering after for a LONNNGGG time . Can't wait to show you when it arrives!)
A vintage cranberry jar is for my white dressing table for a pop of colour and to store my 1950's jewellery, found at the Animal Welfare shop
Now that autumn is here my garden is blooming again so Easter lunch was inspired by what I picked from it
The french tarragon is spreading so I stuffed chickens to roast, with plenty of it, and the whole kitchen was fragrant for hours
I picked heaps of rhubarb and made a crumble
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter

ReplyDeleteI was told by the lady at the counter it was made for a wedding!
DeleteIsn't French tarragon the best herb. I discovered it a few years ago and love it with chicken and fish. Chicken rissoles will never be the same again.

P.S. I hope you will consider adding a link back to FCF.
Your pretty pink cut glass lidded jar is perfect for keeping jewelry. I keep a cut glass powder box on my dresser to hold brooches. I bet your dinner was delicious!
