A Rosy Morning at the Salvos

I was thrilled to find a Royal Albert "American Beauty" cup and sandwich plate for $1.99 . I couldn't believe the price but it didn't have a saucer...PERFECT...as my collection had a set with saucer but no sandwich plate and I'm happy to have a spare cup. I couldn't believe the price but admittedly I was there first through the door and it wasn't even out the the shop lady's trolley yet before I grabbed it.

THEN......I rummaged through the cutlery and found this little teaspoon and checked out it's mark and noticed it was German silver YAY!

 Sighhhhh....my morning was complete!

  8. I love this pattern. I have just one cup that I use over and over when I make candles for my own use or sometimes for tealights.

  19. Lovely tea service and spoon! But it's that header that really gets to me. I am such a map, globe, and graph nut! I can't seem to throw away maps, and have a whole huge boxful of them. I'll have to do a blog post on that some day. lol

    BEAUTIFUL tea set. :-)
