I did a little walk up to the Salvo's on Thursday morning and found a couple things.
A 1979 Pyrex lime green Spring Blossom casserole to add to 1972 my mixing bowls...yay....boo no lid......but happy to pay $3
A lovely large glass vase to fill up with white shells and starfish in my for$2.50
Friday I dropped into the local fleamarket and picked up this gorgeous book....I LOVE IT
Today we drove up to the Adelaide Hills and stopped at a church fete and I found some more old books

We stopped at a junk shop sale in Mt Barker and I found this gorgeous turkey platter on the floor for only $2

The inscriptions are wonderful. I bought a nice old grammar book at the flea market that was inscribed from May 16th. 1864!

ReplyDeleteHi! I just discovered your blog. I have been reading your older posts. It is so unusual to see you in sandals with your gardenias blooming at Christmas time. Here in Tennessee USA the temperature is in the low 40's, the trees are bare, and the children are hoping for snow.
