Saturday Thrift Shopping

I usually only collect white vintage linens for my little  walnut Art Deco cupboard but I couldn't resist the couple of embroidered pieces I found at the Animal Welfare shop

  1. All the time and effort that has went into these pretty linens. It's a bit sad the huge number that end up at op-shops, and worse still the number that would be thrown in the bin.
Love the cupboard too, all that storage. x

  2. I love old linens, I usually go for the all white ones too but sometimes you run across those embroidered pieces that are just too beautiful to pass up!

  4. I think pretty much all embroidered linen deserves a home! when you think of all the woman-hours that went into making them I just want to build each one their own little shrine ...!

  6. I've got a few embroidered linens, they're hard to resist!! I've just popped one over a jar and tied it there to cover the ugly lid, it's looking pretty sweet.
